Daniel GallantDaniel Gallant was born in Pembroke, Canada in 1967, and has resided in the United States since 1977. In 1985 he began contributing art to Scream Magazine, a nationally renowned publication that included artists such as Rob (Zombie) Straker and the late Charles Bukowki. During this time he attended East Carolina University, and procured his first freelance graphic design position in 1988. By 1993, he started his own illustration/design firm, and today still enjoys the lasting work relationships he formed at his company's beginning. Currently, Daniel continues to divide his time between his studio and Alternating Crimes Publishing, the independent comic book company he started in 1995. Along with AC's honorable reviews, international distribution and several gallery exhibitions, Daniel's accomplishments include a feature in the 2000 SPX Anthology, and a 2001 national Hell Car Comix/CD promotion for the Music Monitor Network. He now resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with wife Vivienne. Philosophy: "Great illustration/design is a balance between contextual correctness and stylistic exploration."
