My further education background is in Fine Art which I studied at Newcastle University between 1999 and 2002. Since graduating I have developed a career in animation and illustration.

I am a contributing illustrator for the culture and listing magazine for the North East, The Crack. I also work part time at the local animation company My Team Animations as animator and concept worker. For the past successive years I have contributed animations to the Animex International festival. Last year I was ask to create a short as part of their program for local emerging talent. Since then I have been commissioned work for the Site Galllery in Sheffield and have successfully received funding to develop a short on behalf of Northern Film and Media. I am currently working on this project as well as having in development a comic based work which I am in the process of receive funding for.
