Statement
"I noticed that what characterizes a genuine cartoonist is his/her initial intention to engage in intellectual pursuits, only to end up with unforeseen comic results. The medium that, to my mind, best describes this process is the single panel cartoon. In my work there are elements, in fact, borrowed from mainstream or classical artistic training that often tend to degenerate in self-mockery and/or involuntary lampooning of contemporary society. Sometimes, what many interpret as a shortcoming, for the cartoonist is a true revelation."
